In YOUNGSTOWN in Mill Creek Park on US 62 at Canfield Rd. bridge.
   

Comments:
  Restored (1982-85) gristmill with a large inside waterwheel.  Commercial operations ceased in l888.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 1974.  The mill is owned by the Mill Creek Metropolitan Park District.   Stone-ground products and souvenirs sold.  A covered bridge has been built on the mill property and many hiking trails are nearby.
Operation Schedule:
  April and November open only on weekends Noon to 4 p.m.
May 1 through October 31
       Open Tuesday through Sunday.
       Weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
       Weekends and Holidays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
School Tours are available.
Admission Charged.
Festivals:
  Olde Fashioned Christmas at the Mill is held the weekend immediately following Thanksgiving.

Other Special Events are held in season.
